i think its a good strategy myself. what if someone broke in knowing that usually the solders were in their own room. Now they are caught by surprise and can be turned in.
Bases at different locations, just in case one gets attacked. The other can help out cause they are still intact.

The rule at our house.... I have to share and clean-up after everyone else in 80% of the house... so I claim the living room as MINE... no toys... no wrestling... no fighting... and if you leave it in MY living room, it becomes mine. Works pretty good. If only the 20 month old would catch on...
hmm.. he has a little lego house at my house too, with a soldier....
he wouldn't let me put it away.
