3 days and 3 nights

We loaded up the car on Monday, it was jammed full so the computer and the microwave (as well as alot of other important items we discovered later) had to stay in the trailer.
First on the list after unpacking was exploring our new neighbourhood. Andrew was thrilled that Gelato could be found at the end of our street (less than a block away he exclaimed!). After gelato Andrew counted the number of banks he saw on the way to the grocery store -seven in all, which will make it difficult to decide which he should trust with his money!
The next day included another trip to the grocery store and the park, and of course Starbucks!
Wednesday we found the library and checked out some books.
Three days, no TV, no internet, no microwave, no car. It was fabulous!
I finished a whole novel, and then some!
I was so excited to sleep in my own bad again! AND there are NO mosquitoes in Vancouver!

We are back now for the weekend and to tie up some loose ends. Then we will load up the car again and head back to our big city adventure!
