So glad my mother has left the country...

She would be absolutley appalled by my packing techniques.
I started off organizing and sorting, making sure everything that went together was in the same box. Labelling boxes so they would end up in the same room, wrapping anything breakable and then...
Then this morning I realized I only have 2 days off between now and moving day. I still have to pack, clean, go to the dump, paint the new place, move and clean the house. Sooooo......
I have resorted to scooping up anything and dumping it in a box. Taping the box and labelling it "misc."
Not sure I'm looking forward to unpacking.

Yep, I agree that it is good your mom is away. She even had all those boxes labelled with what was in each of them.
Don't forget to take Michelle to the dump cause she has NEVER BEEN!!! hehehe.....

just think of it this way...every box will bring a new surprise when you open it. Well, that's always been my experience!

oh ya. having been on one of susan's trips i know firsthand what a god-send those boxes are. it's hard to describe watching hundreds of moms and kids, many with tears in their eyes, getting the gift of love.

unless you've seen it it's impossible to describe. i'll never forget that morning.

I can just picture every persons face that they hand out those little things to. Things we take for granted. I can't wait to go next year...

mom used to phone home from work in richmond whenever I was doing something wrong, I don't know how she always knew. Like the day carolyn and I were outside painting my car with a paintbrush....
